# Share results

URL: https://docs.ablyft.com/guides/results/share-results/

> Give colleagues and stakeholders read-only access to the results with a link, and reset or download results.

Share a link to give people who have no ABlyft account access to the results of one experiment.

## Create and copy the share link

1. Open the **Results** of the experiment.
2. Click **Share** in the top right (the arrow icon).
3. In the **Share results** window, copy the **Share URL**.
4. Send the link. Click **Close** to leave the window.

Under the field, ABlyft says: "Share this link to give others access to the results without requiring a login."
Anyone who has the link can open the page, so share it only with people who may see the results.

Each experiment has its own link.

## What viewers see

The shared page shows the same results as you see, in a read-only view:

* the overview with runtime, participants and device split,
* the **Filters and Settings** (date range, device types, statistical method),
* the **Summary** and the **Improvement Overview** (with three or more goals),
* one card per goal with its table and **Charts**.

Viewers do not see the buttons **Interpret**, **Setup summary**, **Share** and **Reset**, so they cannot change or reset anything.

> The **Download CSV** button of a goal card needs a login to ABlyft. Viewers without an account cannot use it.

## Revoke a link

The link stays valid until you replace it:

1. Open **Share** on the results page.
2. Click **Regenerate link** and confirm.
3. ABlyft shows **Share link updated**: "A new share link has been generated."

The old link stops working at once. Anyone who opens it gets an error ("Invalid share token"). Copy and send the new link
to the people who should keep access.

## Download goal results

Each goal card has a download icon (**Download CSV**). It exports the daily data of this goal as a CSV file named
`export_experiment_<experiment ID>_goal_<goal ID>.csv`. You can only download data of experiments you have access to. The
columns are described in [Metrics](https://docs.ablyft.com/guides/results/metrics/#download).

## Reset results

**Reset** (trash icon) on the results page deletes collected data and starts counting again, for example after you
fixed a tracking problem. In the **Reset results** window, choose:

| Option | Effect |
| ----------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Clear all data** | Deletes all results of the experiment. Counting starts now. |
| **Clear all data before a selected date** | Deletes all data before the date. Data from that date onwards stays. Select the **Reset date** (not in the future). |

Confirm with **Yes, reset results**.

> **A reset cannot be undone:** The deleted data is gone. Download the goal results first if you want to keep a copy.
