Notification settings

Get informed about experiment and snippet changes by email or Slack.

Each team member decides for themselves whether to receive notifications and through which channel.

When you are notified

  • An experiment is created.
  • An experiment is started, paused or archived.
  • An experiment is removed.
  • The snippet is updated or published, which means any project-wide change that goes live.

Email

No setup is needed. Notifications go to the email address of your user account.

Slack

  1. Open the apps area of your Slack workspace (https://{yourteam}.slack.com/apps).
  2. Add an Incoming Webhook configuration and copy the webhook URL.
  3. Paste the URL into the Slack field in your notification settings in ABlyft and save.

Choose channels and test them

In your notification settings, switch on Notify me via email and/or Notify me via slack (with the incoming webhook URL from your Slack workspace). After saving, use Send test notification to check that your settings work.

Single sign-on (SAML)

Let your team sign in to ABlyft through your company's identity provider using SAML.
