Orientation

Finding your way around the app, from the main navigation to the Live Log.

ABlyft has two levels: the team (your account, members and plan) and the project (one website with its own experiments and settings). Almost everything you do day to day happens inside a project.

The top bar

  • Active project: shows the project you are working in. Click it to open Switch project, a searchable list of all projects of your team with the number of experiments in each status (running, paused, preview, draft). Select a project to open it. You can also create a project there, see Projects.
  • Team menu: switch between teams if you belong to more than one.
  • Global search: press Cmd + K (macOS) or Ctrl + K (Windows, Linux) to search.
  • Notifications: the bell shows messages for you, for example a team invitation.
  • User menu: contains Personal settings and, if your role allows it, Team settings.

Project navigation

The sidebar of a project is divided into four groups. Counters next to an entry show how many items it contains.

Settings

Settings opens the general project settings. Further settings (Snippet, FullStack, Prerequisites, Data Protection & Compliance, Environments, Metadata) are listed below it. See Project settings.

Experiment status at a glance

In the Experiments list, every experiment shows its status: Draft, Preview, Running or Paused. See Core concepts for the meaning of each status.

Live Log

Project → Activity Log → Live Log shows the latest events that your snippet sent to ABlyft. It is the quickest way to see whether the snippet works and whether goals are triggered. See Check events in the Live Log.

Activity Log

Project → Activity Log is a history of changes in the project. For each entry you see the date and time, the object that was changed, the activity (for example created, updated, deleted, started, paused, archived), the changes and the user who made them. Use the Activity filter to narrow the list. The eye icon shows the details of a change and the arrow icon opens the changed object.

Team settings

Team-level pages are opened from the user menu with Team settings. A second sidebar then shows:

EntryPurpose
Team SettingsTeam name and logo, ABlyft Lumen (AI) settings, billing profile.
Plan SettingsYour plan. AI Usage is listed below it.
User ManagementInvite and manage members. See Members & invitations.
Single Sign-OnOnly shown if your plan includes SSO. See Single sign-on.

Which entries you can open depends on your role, see Roles & permissions.

Notifications

In your notification settings you can choose to be notified about changes in the projects you have access to, by email or via Slack. See Notification settings.
